About Us
Blessed To Give - Introduction and Mission Statement
Blessed To Give is a nonprofit organization currently filed in the state of Texas; but with the intent of providing services nationwide. The objective of Blessed to Give is to prevent homelessness, primarily among our veterans, the elderly and those disabled who are more and more becoming displaced due to the cost of living that has now inflated beyond their fixed incomes.
Homelessness in America is at an all time high and more and more we are seeing our elderly and disabled becoming part of that population. These are people who have either aged out of the work force or that are disabled to the extent that they are unable to work. They are being forced from their housing and many are unable to find any place to go that is affordable and safe. They are being forced to live in undesirable environments and often become victimized. Blessed to Give Homeless Prevention, with the help of those who care, can supplement those who do have housing with rent and utility assistance.
